But you’re still guessing in the lineup. You catch a good wave and have no idea how to repeat it. You know there’s a gap in your foundation, you just don’t know what it is. This retreat closes that gap.

The surf
Mũi Né sits on Vietnam’s south east coast. December brings steady swell, warm water and sandy beach breaks.
We surf early, before the wind picks up. Sand bottom means you fall, reset and go again. Boardshorts and a rash vest. No wetsuit.
How we coach
Five guided sessions with Mui Ne Local Surf School, local coaches who know this coastline.
Off the water: surf skate, mobility work, surf theory and two yoga sessions. Evenings bring family dinners, a local BBQ night and a market day trip. This isn’t a week of fun in the sun. It’s a week of getting better, with Vietnam built in.
Where you’ll stay
We will be staying at Little Garden Homestay, a peaceful, family-run
garden oasis just a short walk from the beach in Mũi Né.
Accommodation is in private garden bungalows with en-
suite
bathrooms, offering comfort, privacy, and a calm place to rest between
retreat activities. For guests choosing the shared option, rooms are twin
bungalows, shared with just one other retreat guest.
Located just away from the main street, the homestay is close to cafés,
local restaurants, and the ocean, while still feeling quiet and relaxed.
